Great North Academy Day 2020

The Great North Academy Day will be held at The Great Hall, University of Leeds, on 20 April 2020.

Wellcome Trust Reimagine Research Culture, 16th January 2020

In September 2019, Wellcome launched a major new initiative aimed at improving the working culture of research. Building on a growing sense of a need for change in the research community Wellcome’s Director Jeremy Farrar said that he wants to see funders, institutions and individuals value not just what is achieved, but also how it is achieved. Wellcome aim to plant this concept at the heart of everything that it does.

11th Euromit conference on Mitochondrial Pathology, which is to be held at the iconic Sage Gateshead from 14th to 17th June 2020. This major mitochondrial meeting sees global leaders in the field of mitochondrial research coming together with over 650 academic delegates and over 100 patient delegates to share recent advances in clinical and basic scientific aspects of mitochondrial biology and disease.
