Good News Stories

  • NuTH recruited its first Phase 3 patients to the RELIEVE IBS taking only 8 working days from submission to first recruitment – 1st in the UK.
  • NuTH was the only Trust in England to activate a UK CRN dormant study for Monkeypox and successfully treat the patient.
  • NuTH is 1 of 5 first-wave Trusts selected to provide a new adult cancer treatment for lymphoma and leukaemia (CAR-T cell therapy).
  • NuTH continues to maintain its position in NIHR league tables for recruitment to time and target and commercial research performance.
  • Development and implementation of a suite of training and development packages for R&D staff in NuTH.
  • The NJRO team in NuTH are reviewing and streamlining SOPs and Working Instructions to improve research set-up times.
