Updated document search tool and roll out of Q-Pulse

Launch of updated Research Documentation search tool and roll out of the Q-Pulse Quality management system for Research

Document search tool

The new research document search tool is now live on the NJRO website and can be found here

The documents listed on the search tool are all managed within the research Q-Pulse document management system and therefore the links will always take you to the most up to date version of the document.

This new release incorporates a range of useful filters to make it as easy as possible to find the documentation you are looking for.

For example if you are a data manager or working in an NMAHP role you can use the ‘Job Role’ filter to list the documents relevant to your specific research role.

New documents released within the last month will now be highlighted blue to make them easy to identify at a glance.

Research Q-Pulse Document Management

Alongside the release of the search tool, the NJRO informatics team are rolling out the Q-Pulse system in a phased manner across the research workforce. Training has already started with the Team Leads and is progressing through all staff in the Research Teams and Platforms. The training will initially focus on electronically acknowledging documentation in the system and going forward the team can also support staff in authoring, document managing and distributing their own documentation in the system.

This will allow research documentation (Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, Working Instructions, Templates and Guidance documents) to be distributed and acknowledged electronically by the research staff they are relevant to. This ensures we are adhering to our regulatory requirements.
