Do you work in research? Do you want to involve the public in your research? Looking to develop your community and cultural awareness or develop your confidence to embed Patient and Public contributions meaningfully into your research plans? Newcastle Health Innovation Partners (NHIP) has joined forces with Creating Connections to launch a pilot series of joint Patient, Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) training sessions open to staff and public contributors involved in health and care research, regardless of their role or the organisation they work for.
The in person or online sessions will offer participants the opportunity to learn how to do PPIE and participation activities effectively within research. There is no requirement to have any previous experience within PPIE.
Please see the following programme and associated links to book or register interest in these in opportunities below.
If you are unable to make it to the current events, you can register your interest for the full PPIE training programme 2025 here.
Any questions can be directed to Public Partnership Coordinator, Katie Pegg: katie.pegg@newcastle.ac.uk
