The Pre-Application Support Fund (PASF) round 4 is now open. This grant provides up to 1 year of flexible funding as extra support to help awardees to prepare a competitive application to a future NHIR research training programme.

- Join the Webinar: Please join the Pre-Application Support Fund Chair, Deputy Chair and NIHR Academy staff for a webinar on Tuesday 22nd October 2024 3-4pm. This will provide an overview of the scheme, top tips for applications and the opportunity for applicants to ask any questions. You can find out more information and register for the webinar here
- Complete a Project Initiation Form (PIF): For support with collating the costs for your application please complete and submit this at the earliest opportunity. PIF applications submitted after 31/10/2024 will have no guarantee of formal support.

- regulated Healthcare Professionals (Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals, Pharmacists and Healthcare Scientists)
- social work and public health professionals
- researchers in methodology
- applicants from ethnic minority backgrounds
- applicants who are disabled
